We Work
It
is easy to have Akilah Media complete your editing, writing, research,
or desktop publishing project.
Most
of the communication is done by e-mail, telephone, or fax. We have
served clients throughout the US in this way. We can also arrange
face-to-face meetings in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
We accept cash and check as well electronic transfers and credit
card payments through PayPal.
Here
are the steps to have Akilah Media
work with your document:

Send an email message to us at Info@AkilahMedia.com.
Include your name, telephone number, and a description of the
project you have in mind. If the document is short, you may attach
it. For longer documents, you may attach a chapter.

We discuss the project with you by telephone and give you an estimate
of the time and cost.
- We
require a deposit—usually equal to one-half the estimated
cost.

We work on your project, keeping you up to date on any queries
or problems.

We deliver your finished project, either by e-mail attachment,
courier, or mail.

You make final payment by any of the methods discussed above.

Publishing
Flyers, per camera-ready page, $40.00.
Newsletters, first page, $40.00; following pages $15.00-$40.00.
Brochures and Booklets, per panel, $10.00-$20.00.
Resumes, first page, $35.00; additional pages, $15.00; changes,
$40.00 per hour. Keyboard input, simple, $15.00 per page; oversized
or complex formatting, $30.00-$60.00 per page.
Larger projects (e.g., books), contact us for estimate.
- Custom
Design, $50.00 per hour
- Attractive
package rates (e.g., to edit and desktop publish the same newsletter)
