Karen G. Bandy is a Maryland-based science writer, editor,
and researcher. A former telecommuter (now home-based
worker), she began writing about telework issues in 1989 for
the congressional Office of Technology Assessment.
Karen has an M.S. in telecommunication policy and many years
of experience as a telecommuter, home-based worker, and supervisor
of telecommuters.
Karen’s interests include karate, cooking, and herb gardening.
She practices and teaches Transcendental Meditation and does
community service in urban agriculture education as a member
of the Montgomery County Master Gardeners.
